Huayuan gets beautiful look with mutual assistance

As a primary benefactor of targeted poverty alleviation and demonstrative county of rural revitalization in Hunan Province, Huayuan County has been continuously deepening mutual assistance for prosperity across five aspects in rural revitalization, namely, learning, production, civilization, harmony and environmental protection. So far, the county has established 9,950 teams for mutual assistance, encompassing more than 250,000 people. The mode of mutual assistance has become a leading force in rural revitalization in Huayuan County. Dongli Village is located in the south of Huayuan County, and used to make its living on mineral excavation, at the cost of the village being heavily polluted by mining. In order to return a green and livable environment to the residents, Dongli has steadily pushed forward the comprehensive improvement of the mining environment. It has encouraged residents to plant flowers and trees, reconstructed dangerous buildings and improved its infrastructure. Now, the village is surrounded by green mountains and fresh flowers, as well as wide and flat roads with clean and tidy residences.

Miao villages, such as Shibadong and Dongli, are becoming more beautiful under the guidance of the Party through the mode of mutual assistance.
